DZJ-480Tandem Vibratory Hammer Successfully Used in Jiashao Bridge
Jiashao Bridge is another Cross-Hangzhou Bay bridge after Hangzhou Bay Bridge. The two bridges, together with Qiantang River tunnel, constitute “One Bay Three Bridges”. According to the national approved scheme, the entire Jiashao Bridge and highway connection will cost at least 13.9 billion, of which 6.35 billion will be used in the bridge. It is expected to be open to traffic in 2012. This is the historically largest infrastructure construction in Shaoxing City. And after the bridge is completed, Shaoxing to Shanghai's drive will be shortened at least half from the current three hours.
» Construction Environment
- 1. The bridge is in the interaction place, thus difficult to construct. This area is known for being shallow and wide, strong tide and turbulent current, and large sediment concentration. All this makes the river bed scouring change violently.
- 2. The approach bridge in water will apply large-diameter bored piles (the diameter is 3.8meters). In addition, perfusion volume of single pile will be over 1,300steres.
